Chiara Colombo
Prof. Chiara Colombo, Associate Professor, female. Role: contribute to cold spray manufacturing.
Prof. Colombo is at the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Politecnico di Milano since 2011. Her research topics are about the fatigue of metals and composite materials, treatments to improve the mechanical properties of structural elements and thermography for damage assessment in structural parts. She is Responsible for the local Research Unit of Politecnico di Milano of the research project “Cold Spray of Metal-to-Composite”(COSMEC, funded by the Italian Ministry for Scientific and Technological Research.
