Jing Guo

Dr Jing Guo has her first degree in Metal Material Science and Engineering and PhD in Materials Science. Her research area mainly focuses on materials design, microstructure-property relationship of alloys and materials calculation. Sha has involved in many basic research projects and enterprise-related projects related to welding and coating materials. From 2019, she started to work as Marie-Curie fellow in Liverpool John Moores University doing DFT calculations about component carbides in welded hardfacings. Now she is working for ATLAS project in University of Derby as Project Researcher to design advanced High Entropy Alloys for propulsion system.
